    INCLUDED EXCURSIONS
Ironbridge & Blist’s Hill Victorian Town En route we call at the “Birthplace of the Industrial Revolution”, Ironbridge where we include entrance to the Blist’s Hill Victorian town where the atmosphere of Victorian life in the late 1800’s is re-created. Life is re-enacted by townsfolk who wear the attire of the day. Attractions include a 19th century steam operated pithead, Victorian Chemist, Squatter’s Cottage, School House and a Bank - here you can obtain Blist’s Hill’s own Victorian legal tender to spend in the town's shops and pub.
Chester We visit Chester. Set within a loop of the River Dee, the city is ringed by about two miles of Roman and medieval walls. Discover amongst the ancient streets the Rows – two tiers of half-timbered galleried medieval shops, and the glorious 14th century cathedral.
Llangollen Railway & The Horseshoe Pass We include a scenic heritage train ride on the Llangollen Railway, one of the UK’s most scenic lines, running alongside the River Dee in North Wales. We allow free time in the little market town of Llangollen before returning over the spectacular Horseshoe Pass to our hotel.
Royal Albert Dock Travelling via the Mersey Tunnel we drive to Liverpool’s famous Albert Dock. A series of massive brick warehouses encloses a dock basin which have been revitalised with shops, cafes, apartments, maritime museum and the northern extension of the Tate Gallery.
